Register to Access Your Home Banking

In order to access online banking, members will first need to register. This is an easy four-step process that takes roughly 3 – 5 minutes to complete. To begin this process, the member clicks the Register button located on the credit union’s website or from the online banking login box. Next, the member needs to verify select information to confirm his or her identity. In general, the member will need verify the following information:

  • Account Number
  • Last four digits of the Social Security Number (SSN)
  • Birth Date (mm/dd/yyyy format)

The member will also be required to agree to various disclosures and agreements by typing YES. The agreements are viewable as a PDF by clicking them directly.

Once the member is verified, he or she will be prompted to select a username and a password. Below are a few guidelines for usernames:

  • Not case sensitive
  • May not be the same as the account number or password
  • Must be between 6 and 20 characters long
  • Must start with a letter
  • May only contain numbers and letters (i.e., no special characters such as ?!$@)

There are also some guidelines for passwords:

  • Case sensitive
  • May not be the same as the account number or username
  • Must be between 8 and 20 characters
  • May contain letters, numbers, and the following characters (~!@#$%">~!@#$%^&*+=)

Next, the member must select and answer three challenge questions from the list provided. The questions will be presented to the member when the computer accessing online banking is not recognized.

Finally, the member will create a security phrase and select a security image from the gallery provided. These items will be presented to the member each time they log in to online banking to ensure the authenticity of the session.

Logging On

To access online banking, the member enters his or her username in the field provided and clicks "Log In" to continue.

Next, the security phrase and image selected by the member during the registration process displays. If the image or phrase is incorrect, the member should restart the login process and/or contact your credit union as this could be a sign that unauthorized access to the member’s account has taken place.

The member will also need to enter a password in the field provided and then click “Next.” The final step in the login process is to answer the challenge question. The member also has the option for the system to “Remember Computer.” This option should only be selected if the computer being used is a private device (i.e., not a public device like in a library or an Internet café). If the member selects “Yes,” he or she will not be prompted to answer a challenge question in subsequent visits unless the cookies are deleted. The member clicks “Next” to continue.

In the next section, the member will learn about the Account Summary screen, which is the first screen to display for the member.

Updating the Member Profile

The "Profile" tab enables members to manage their login and contact information, as well as view a variety of other information, such as sign-in and alert history.

To edit login information, the member will click the "More Details" link for a complete view of all the items, including username, passwords and challenge questions. Only those sections accompanied by an "Edit" button to the right (such as "Personal Information" above) can be edited in any way.
