Courtesy Pay *

As with the overdraft protection credit line, Courtesy Pay and Courtesy Pay Plus protects your GVFCU checking account against accidental overdrafts. That means no more worries of having checks returned – and no more merchant-returned check charges! Plus, it saves you the time and trouble of having to remit payment a second time. You are automatically enrolled into Courtesy Pay when you open your checking account, protecting your account from those accidental overdrafts from check and ACH transactions. Courtesy Pay Plus is also available for Visa Debit Card transactions, but you must enroll. Be sure to protect your account today!

*We charge a fee of $35.00 each time we pay a Courtesy Pay overdraft. There is a maximum of five (5) Courtesy Pay fees that the Credit Union may charge per day per account. The overdraft fee can be imposed on checks, ACH and Bill Pay transactions that exceed the balance in your checking account, and Debit Card transactions if you have opted in. You must bring your account to a positive end-of-day available balance at least once every 44 days. We pay overdrafts at our discretion, which means we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft, your transaction will be declined.
